Grunda-grunda opalescent beings, Lord Tidow and I hope this missive greets you like the sloppiest of snogs from the biggest of kippers lippers!
Yes indeed divine sproutlings, it is May – the month of new beginnings, sunshine both day and night, and a change of under-garment from the roll on/roll off to the cotton, soft gusset easy-feel.
To all our beautiful new seedlings, welcome to our monthly musings. We advise before continuing to read, you should sit down, preferably with a large mug of good tea and keep a hankie to hand. We sincerely hope that we do not offend, though this is not always possible or indeed preferred.
Official video for Gentleman Jack
After spending a couple of weeks in LA (Lower Altrincham) filming, O&T are proud to present their Official Video for Gentleman Jack. As you will see, no expense was spared in the making of this film. Please note, no bananas were injured. Please share with all your friend.
O&T support the First Lady of America
In an extreme case of mistaken generosity, the amazingly talented Anais Mitchell
thought it would be a great idea for (in her words) a really lovely and excellent female folk duo to support her on some of her UK tour dates in June. Scanning the photo fits, she stumbled upon our publicity shots of us stood up to our knees in water. Fearing that the image represented that our folk career was (in her words) “all washed up” she decided there and then to offer us a metaphor in the form of an inflatable rubber ring, to help us back onto dry land. Seizing any opportunity that remotely whiffs past our way, we accepted immediately before she had chance to realise her terrible error. So for all of you discerning musos, a treat is in order. We are opening the show for Ms Mitchell at:
Friday 1st June Kirkbymoorside Band Room
Sunday 10 June Newcastle Cluny 2
Do come along, it will probably never happen again.

Bella Ciao
Bella Hardy is a hyper-talented songwriter and interpreter of folk song. She has released many an album and in our humble opinions, she’s reet gud. She also has beautiful, long and vibrant nut-brown hair that both Lord T and I envy.
Those cheeky scoundrels at The Nest Collective in London town have coupled us together with Ms Hardy for a night of unadulterated folk joy on Monday 11th Juneat The Old Queen’s Head, Islington. The tickets are a ridiculous recession-proof 6 quid if purchased in advance. Bella & O&T for 6 poundage? Get Away!

Summer lovin’
Sooneth t’will be the season of summer madness, where hoards of hairy-legg-ed men und women don khaki thigh/crotch-huggers and pretend to live in a refugee camp for a whole weekend. Yes kind reader, Festival Season is a coming!
Lady O has made an exception to her usual rule of not eating half-cooked sausage to grace a few of the more civilised folk festivals with her presence. Lord T will of course be carrying the diamond-encrusted sherpa tent with matching plug-in anal latrine.
Lady O will also be accompanying folk legend Nic Jones as he returns to performing after a terrible car accident 30 yrs ago halted his career. Nic has chosen 4 festivals over the summer for this revival and will be accompanied by his son Joseph Jones on guitar and Lady O on piano, accordion and home-made didgeridoo. Rehearsals are underway.
